Installation Guide

Step 1: Planning

• Sensor Placement: Ensure the sensor’s metallic buttons are positioned at the height that would pose a hazard to drivers.
• Cable Routing: Plan the cable routing to ensure it reaches the Controller or Collaborator cabinet without issues.

Step 2: Mounting

Avoid Contact: Ensure the metallic buttons do not come into contact with metal surfaces.

• Multiple Options: The Detector can be mounted to the back of a flood gauge sign, a post or pole, or a pedestal base.
• Bracket Usage: Use the supplied bracket for Telespar-style posts.
• Hardware: Utilize the supplied hardware and through holes in the housing to securely fasten the Detector.

Step 3: Connection

• Wiring Harness: The detector has two wires within its rugged, outdoor-rated cable harness.
• Wiring Diagram: Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram at INPUT 2.  See Wiring Diagram below.
• System Power: Connect the detector before powering on the system to unlock its configuration settings in the user interface.
