  10. M75-SA30M-CTL3
  11. M75-SA30M-CLB2
  12. M75-SA30M-CLB3

Tools Needed

  • Multimeter or voltmeter
  • Screwdriver (Phillips-head)

Checking and Replacing Fuses

Glass Barrel Fuse (5 amp)

  • Location: On the back of the unit, accessible with a 1/4 quarter turn.
  • Purpose: Protects the system from overcurrent. Replace with a time delay or slow blow fuse if blown.

Blade Fuse (5 amp)

  • Location: Behind the plexiglass window on the electronics tray.
  • Action: Check and replace if necessary with a standard 5 amp blade fuse.

Battery and Solar Voltage Checks

Battery Voltage Levels

  • Normal Range: 12.4 - 14.2V DC.
  • Low Voltage Threshold: Below 10.4V may prevent system recovery without recharging to at least 12.4V.
  • To test individual batteries, disconnect one wire from the battery terminal and use a voltmeter to measure. This prevents the combined voltage from affecting the reading.

Solar Panel Output

  • Expected Output: 17-21V on sunny days; above 14V even on cloudy days.
  • Connection Check: Ensure the positive and negative are correctly connected. A negative reading indicates reversed connections.

Battery Access and Maintenance

Accessing Batteries

  • Locate the battery doors on the side of the controller or collaborator. These provide access to the wiring connections and allow for battery replacement.

Battery Replacement

  • To replace, slide out the old battery and connect the new one to the appropriate terminals.

Testing Batteries

  • Test the voltage of each battery individually to ensure they are between 6-7V DC.

Battery doors open to reveal terminals.

Replacement Parts

Here’s a table of common replacement parts you might need:

Part Description Part Number
Battery BATTERY AGNI 6VOLT 12.0 AH (2pcs) <029-05162-0000>
Glass Fuse FUSE MINI SLOW BLOW 5A 25OV <029-05285-0000>
Blade Fuse FUSE-BLADE TRM & SPECIAL 32V 5A <029-03590-0000>

Final Checks

After replacing any parts or making adjustments:

  • Ensure all connections are secure.
  • Power on the system to check operational status.
  • Monitor the system for any irregularities during initial reactivation.
